The Lenox Sportsmen’s Club will be closed tomorrow, Saturday November 22nd from 7am until 7pm. A closed registration Range Safety Officer class is being conducted by Cliff and Vicki White. With 9 participants in this course our Club will ultimately be safer and better prepared for the future.
On Sunday, November 23rd the Downstairs range will be closed from 9:30am until 4pm. This is to accommodate the Boy Scouts as they continue painting/remodeling the squad room. We anticipate a few more dates that will require closing, but the project is progressing rapidly.
Also a reminder that Sunday the 23rd is the last Turkey Shoot of the season. We hope you’ll join us in this great fall tradition. The kitchen is fully stocked with hamburgs, hot dogs, and sausages. The Junior Rifle team will hold a bake sale, as well as selling venison chili and drawing for the Fall Shotgun raffle.
Thank you for your patience,
Attention Parents and Lenox Sportsmen’s Club Youth Archery League members.
Over the past few years the success of our program has caused it to grow extraordinarily fast and to a point where we have to put a limit on the number of those participating moving forward. Mr. Cimini and I regret that we’ve had to come to this decision, but in order to provide a safe and quality program for everyone involved, plus be able to fit the program into the time slot provided by the Lenox Sportsmen’s Club, we feel that this action is required.
As your son or daughter has been a previous participant in the program, we are giving you first chance to renew their membership into the program. At this point we are only going to accept enrollment into the program from those who were involved last year.
If your child is between the ages of 8 – 16 by Jan 1st they are eligible to participate. Attached we have a sign up sheet and a waiver forms.
Please fill out and mail back to me ASAP If your child had decided not to participate this year, please let us know as we have a number of others who are on a waiting list.
Ages 08 – 12 09:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Ages 13 – 16 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
