Lenox Sportsmen’s Club Junior Archery Program

The Lenox Sportsmen’s Club Junior Archery Program is designed to introduce young people to the sport of archery in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Our goal is to teach proper shooting techniques, range safety, sportsmanship, and confidence while helping participants develop a lifelong appreciation for archery and the outdoors.

The program is open to youth ages 8–18 and welcomes archers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced shooters. Instruction is provided by knowledgeable volunteers who are committed to helping each participant improve at their own pace.

Program Schedule

The Youth Archery League runs for 12 weeks beginning on the second Saturday in January and concluding in late March.

Ages 8–12:
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Ages 13–18:
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Cost: Free

Equipment is available for participants who are new to archery or do not have their own equipment. Archers with personal bows are welcome to bring them, subject to a safety inspection by program staff.

What Participants Will Learn

  • Proper shooting form and technique
  • Equipment care and maintenance
  • Target shooting skills
  • Sportsmanship and personal responsibility
  • Goal setting and skill development

Throughout the season, participants have the opportunity to track their progress, build friendships, and enjoy healthy outdoor recreation in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Registration and Permission Forms

All participants must have a completed and signed Parental Permission Slip before participating in the program. Please download the form from the club website and bring the signed form on the first day of attendance.
